The Lame Priest

This early work by S. Carleton was originally published in 1901 and we are now republishing it as part of our Cryptofiction Classics series. 'The Lame Priest' is a short story about a hermit who makes the acquaintance of a limping priest who turns out not to be quite what he seemed.
