The Innkeeper

Craig had fallen on hard times. His position at the machine shop was the only thing he knew. Now the shop had closed down, and he was unemployed for the first time in his life. He had applied everywhere, but no one was hiring in the Columbiana County area of Ohio. He had a wife and two daughters to support, so he took the only job he could find as manager at the Spread Eagle Tavern and Inn in Hanoverton, Ohio. It wasn’t what he planned, but it would do until something better came along. Rumor was that the inn was haunted, and as he conducted his evening tours of the inn, it seemed the only thing the guests wanted to talk about were the ghosts. Craig didn’t believe in ghosts at least, not in the beginning.
