About
The crystal ball of the future is available today. Computer technology has developed the capability of showing us any image that can be imagined. A short description of the Imageverse, a particular collection of images, is presented and several interesting questions and their implications are discussed. JM O'Farrell graduated from Auburn University with a mathematical degree in Set Theoretic Topology. After university he worked as a teacher at democratic and public schools, programmer, statistician, and computational fluid dynamicist for NASA contractors, and finally as an image analyst for the United Space Alliance on the US Space Shuttle program. When the Space Shuttle program was canceled he turned to full time writing. He has published technical papers in mathematics, fluid dynamics, and image analysis and now science fiction stories.
