History Has Some Bad News for US Eight Old Testament nations fell under the wrath of God within a few decades of the Hebrews' escape from slavery in Egypt. Some were lost forever. None ever returned to their previous greatness. And they're not the only ones to suffer such a fate. Many nations-including Israel itself-have come under God's judgment, and it's never good news when that happens. The Bible's troubling accounts of the death and destruction that result prompt two obvious questions: What national sins bring God's judgment? What makes these sins so grievous that they trigger the wrath of God? Through years of Old Testament study and prayerful insights, Joe Maggelet discovered four key societal failings that prompt God to say to a nation "enough is enough." In The 'I' Judgments, Joe reveals both the four sins (each one starts with an 'I') as well as the disturbing reality of where America stands with respect to the sinful practices so repugnant to the Judge. Joe warns that the United States is dangerously close to falling out of favor with the One in whom we claim to trust. Believers must understand where we're headed, so we can prepare for the spiritual growth and ministry opportunities possible even in the worst-case scenarios that could be upon us. Since history repeats itself, take stock of The 'I' Judgments now, and you'll be ready for what's to come.
