After the death of her father, 22-year-old Lorelei is living alone in London, England working as a journalist for an obscure magazine uncovering the "truths" behind well-known myths and mysteries. All is quiet in her life, until the day she finds herself in a mystery all her own: a mystery of Cosmic proportions. Lorelei is confronted by a Fallen angel who tells her she is the only hope to save humanity from Armageddon. Thrust into a world of demons out for blood, angels with attitude, ancient secrets and a ticking clock; Lorelei must navigate self-doubt and perilous situations while working alongside unlikely allies: a brooding, disgraced angel and the awkward teenage son of Lucifer himself. As danger increases; and profound romance begins to blossom in the midst of chaos; can Lorelei discover in time how to save the human race from powerful beings who have been around since before the creation of Earth? Or find out that no one can truly win in a war with Heaven and Hell.
