The Household Survival Manual is more than a devotional - it is a prophetic wake‑up call for families living in a collapsing world. Built as a 120‑day spiritual formation journey, this manual restores the ancient rhythms of prayer, Scripture, and Christ‑centered leadership inside the home.
James R. Brawner Jr. writes from painful honesty and God's restoring grace. After drifting from steady prayer, church fellowship, and his calling as priest of the household, the loss of a once beautiful marriage marked him deeply. Out of that brokenness, the Lord awakened in him a lifelong burden to help families guard what God has entrusted to them. This devotional is the fruit of that burden - a guide to rebuild what neglect can destroy.
Each day includes:
- A Prophetic Word and Fulfillment Scripture pairing
- A pastoral teaching that strengthens spiritual maturity
- A Confession Challenge to sharpen self‑examination
- Accountability questions for the household
- A prayer to anchor the family in God's presence
- A daily call to surrender through Romans 10:9
This manual emphasizes the essentials of a thriving Christian home: daily prayer, baptismal obedience, church fellowship, and the father's responsibility as priest of the household. It teaches spiritual babes how to grow in Christ and challenges families to choose Jesus today rather than pay the cost of delay.
Whether your home is strong, struggling, or rebuilding, The Household Survival Manual offers clarity, courage, and a path back to God's order. Because the family that prays together truly stays together.
