This is a rip-roaring story set in the wilds of Canada during winter. A man is found close to death in the first chapter. He is alone and feels he is about to die but his anguished scream for help is answered by a sound. Into the mix throw a native guide/trapper, two conceited white men, and some dubiously obtained gold. If you like adventures, this is for you.
