In The Habitation of Devils, Dan Overfield shares his own mistakes, sins, and weaknesses in the hope that they will prevent readers from going through the same sort of personal tragedy he experienced. Likewise, in reviewing his life and the transformation he was able to undergo, Overfield's book also serves as a testament to the glory and magnificence of God and Jesus Christ. Through the examination of earthly shortcomings and Biblical truths, The Habitation of Devils will start the reader on the path to a life full of meaning and hope.
Pacific Book Review -------- "I found it interesting Overfield referenced Revelation 18 when starting the book. It makes one wonder what was going through the author's mind, and at the same time makes the reader appreciate him for being unpredictable. The second chapter was to me to be even more interesting. In this chapter, the reader gets to time travel back to the 17th century. I commend the author for starting the book by taking the reader back to the 1600s. This gives every reader a different perspective and gets them to think about life as it was back then. The brief mention of John Bunyan and the author's comparison was a great way of starting to talk about his life".
