If this is a natural biological stage of human evolution, why is it virtually unknown in the West? This is the question that Ruth sought to answer after her dramatic spiritual awakening in 1979. This mystical journey was so profoundly mind-altering, that Ruth embarked on a 30-year quest to understand the disturbing events that resulted in a transformative restructuring of her being. Ruth found this awakening is part of every culture around the world, yet Americans, 20% of whom are depressed and seeking escape from reality, are unprepared for this enlightening transformation that brings a deep connection to the soul. These and other questions Ruth researched and investigated for 20 years in order to explain the amazing feats of magic and mystery that occurred after this awakening. The author does not explain this process of Kundalini awakening, for it is always a mystery and a gift. But answers slowly unfolded in a wide-ranging Bibliography. Ruth delves into Huna philosophy of the Hawaiians, Kashmir Shaivism, Buddhism and Toltec shaman lore to uncover answers to these questions which she openly shares with you. The print book has an extensive index to facilitate research. The author hopes that after traveling with her through the book, the reader will have a fuller appreciation for what it is to be a human being and for the beauty and joy of this birth.
