Life, death, love, hate, betrayal, and courage collide in Africa's vast savannah. With the loss of their father, the pride has little chance of survival unless a hero comes forth... Life for the pride of Jelane-Jumbe is heaven on earth until their protector is prematurely taken from them. Now the family must survive against massive odds of marauding lions, giant crocodiles, thirst, hunger, and even a raging fire. Together, the family might endure, but instead of pulling together, members fall away, betray, and battle against each other, scattering them into different groups. At just the right time, an unlikely champion steps into the light.
