The Grace Trilogy is an expository presentation of the books of Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians. The doctrine contained in these three epistles comprise the mountain top of divine revelation. Ephesians focuses on the Body of Christ; Colossians, on Christ, the Head; and Philippians focuses on the sacrificial love that ties them together.
In The Grace Trilogy, the author brings out how the Body of Christ is formed, how it operates in the world today, and God's eternal purpose for it. This book shows how God reconciles all things back to Himself that have been usurped from Him and blesses believers in the process. The author highlights the work that the Holy Spirit does by joining believers to Christ at the moment of salvation. This union of the believers with Christ forms a new living organism which these epistles call the One New Man.
The material presented in this volume was originally three separate study guides for a Bible Institute at our local church. The texts for Ephesians and Colossians are straightforward exposes on the themes covered in those books of the Bible. The text for Philippians was formatted to teach how to study any Bible book or passage using the themes of Philippians. The three study guides were joined into this one large volume because the themes are so tied together and complement each other.
