Patrick has returned to his university studies where on campus he meets a suspicious stranger who turns his life inside out. He must return to the Hatchie Hills to seek counsel with Chief Tanglefoot. Patrick discovers that a golden chalice from Solomon's temple holds powers that stagger the imagination. His girlfriend, Christine, and her roommate, Ongello, are drawn into the conflict in an epic novel that introduces two characters that no one would ever expect in this fictional tale based on a monumental geo-political event, the Battle of Ackia, that happened where Tupelo, Mississippi, is located today. What do Elvis and Frankenstein have in common? The surprises keep coming as this action-adventure saga continues in this sequel to Hatchie: Keeper of the Secret!
