This three-part version of Amsterdam's Compleat Fools (Copyright 2022; All Rights Reserved) was created to spread the word about the physical book, which covers fifty years of theatrical history - and especially the people who performed, acted, danced, played music in the hundred-plus productions that we have documented in these pages. Volume I - The Gathering Fools reveals the background of the initial festival and its first four summers in the Netherlands in the times between 1972 and into 1978.
Volume II - Fools International shows how the Fools expanded beyond the Dutch borders throughout Europe to the Mediterranean and even the USA from 1978 through 1983.
Volume III - Worldwide Fools tells about the Amsterdam Festival's initial finale in 1984, the Theatre des Nations in Athens during 1985, and how the Fools subsequently spread throughout the globe, including the Southern Hemisphere, well into the Millennium and present times after a Reunion Festival in 1995.
