The Future is Not Yet Written, the sequel to Both Sides of the Same Coin is a contemporary novel that continues the story of the living members of the Klein, Goldstone-Carbone, Doyle-Williams, and Roth families. It is a generational story that takes place between September Eleventh, 2001, and the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. These events shaped, molded, and directed the actions and relationships of the fictional characters and families and combines real events with personal drama. The narrative includes many twists and turns, that highlight the unexpected randomness of life as the characters confront and manage common, everyday challenges, such as homosexuality, terminal cancer, anorexia nervosa, depression, post-traumatic stress disorders, and autism.
