"When you're older, Alan, you will learn that nothing is real."
With his parents gone, 13-year-old Alan Cope will do anything to connect with his one and only sibling, a broken man whose memories of their past are pure fantasy. His delusions prove real when Alan is kidnapped and soon finds himself in the world his brother imagined.
Set in the early 2000s, The Fox and the Stag is a story of the fallibility of human memory, the power of language and the duty of imagination.
