Mr. Edgar Locke is a very talented and intelligent foreman for Lord Thurston. Dubbed the wonder boy, his genius in operations have helped Thurston's mills become prosperous and maintain the estate's opulence. But he's always known genius doesn't always translate to station, and he's definitely not in the same sphere as the daughter of one of the country's wealthiest gentlemen. When the only man who arrests Miss Christiana Yeatman's interest is one her father won't deem as suitable marriage material, interesting dilemmas arise, testing relationships and business decisions. One choice at the heart of it all must be made before the end of her father's dinner party, will they end a relationship that seems doomed to failure before it's even begun or charge on full steam ahead?
“The Foreman” features the strong-willed and whole-hearted Christiana Yeatman as she sounds the opening battle cry in this prequel novella for “The Women of T.H.E.T.A.” series.
