In his benevolence and goodwill, Doran decides to help his beloved nanny Guizi to finally be free and return home to the world of the spirits after being captive in the hands of mortals for more than eight hundred years. And although it was Artimiz, the same wizard who gave Melik the magic choker to secure the culprit long ago, he alone has become Doran's last hope.
In a highly entertaining and well-crafted novel, Sonia Nazarian paves an intricate and inventive fantasy with a glittering array of wizards, spirits, fictive creatures and a hero, Doran, who sets out to atone a centuries-old wrong, little knowing that his actions will not only affect the spirits, but mankind as well.
