The Financial Ombudsman Service claims on their website that they offer a free and easy-to-use service that settles complaints between consumers and businesses that provide financial services and that they resolve disputes fairly and impartially, and have the power to put things right. The statistics say otherwise. Has the Financial Ombudsman become a victim of regulatory capture?
