"I was the one to be called upon in the night for reasons I do not know and compelled to follow my God through places I could never have imagined. I would become a part of something so overwhelmingly grotesque and foul but, yet, laden with such beauty and power that I could not look away."
The Final Word begins with Jenny Taylor's midnight prayer for her father's salvation and expands into an intricately woven story of murder, fraught family history, and dangerous confrontations with family and strangers. Jenny not only ends up face-to-face with her dad's murderer in a Tennessee courthouse, but through a humbling experience she is also called to forgive the man who brutally took her father's life. This memoir is rich with bold characters, Southern roots, and unforgettable events that expose the horrors and glory of this tale.
