Barney Merryman is a vagabond traveler who looks for fun and unusual ways to help children learn. Barney discovers THE ENGLISH ZOO; an unusual zoo full of verbs, nouns, and fun! The members of the zoo help children learn parts of English speech in an entertaining way! Children learn about nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, and more. All in a zoo full of funny and strange "animals" that spell out the parts of English speech.
