At the ripe age of twenty-one I had decided to give up on dating until my thirties. That is until my ex wouldn't stop harassing me. The only way to get him to leave me alone? Act like I had moved on...and who better to play make-believe than with my bestfriend's brothers roommate? Did I also mention he's my ex's teammate? And that he is hotter than any man has a right to be. But will the cover of a new relationship protect me from my relentless ex? Or will it make things worse for everyone?
Despite my no distractions rule that I have flawlessly executed my entire college career, it doesn't take me long to cave to the pleas of Ms. Lo Matthews. Fake-dating isn't breaking any of my rules. Except seeing her in my jersey, and taking her out doesn't feel fake, not a single minute of it. But, when her ex-boyfriend takes things a step to far, I have no choice but reveal my true feelings, let's just hope my confession can overcome the damage done.
