This early work by Arthur Benjamin Reeve was originally published in 1916 and we are now republishing it with a brand new introductory biography. 'The Ear in the Wall' features super-sleuth Professor Craig Kennedy who is sometimes referred to as "The American Sherlock Holmes" due to his astounding ability at crime solving and his Watson-like sidekick Walter Jameson, a newspaper reporter. In 'The Ear in the Wall,' Kennedy and Jameson, aided by a tough but compassionate woman detective start a race to save Betty Blackwell who has transcribed deals with criminal gangs and Wall Street plungers.
