About
Ex-military George Batt and his Commanding Officer Pete James are reunited when they find themselves working for the Burton upon Trent police force. Compared to their time serving in Afghanistan, life is pretty mundane. The appointment of a new Chief Inspector doesn't suggest things will get any better.
A suspicious death and a chance phone call change all that and Batt finds himself involved in a high stakes investigation when the Northern Irish Troubles of fifty years ago threaten to resurface.
A story of intrigue, tension and deception.
