Imagine you have sixty seconds to grab weapons for self-defense. You have been notified by the authorities that someone is in your neighborhood and planning an attack on you and your family. They have watched and studied your every move for some time. They know your areas of strength and weakness. They have listened to your words.
You wait, but nothing happens. You never saw anyone. Are you safe?
Someone is lying in wait, watching and carefully planning strategies of attack. The weapons you grabbed are not the weapons you need to defend yourself, because you are not fighting flesh and blood.
