From the award-winning author of Deadly Division comes another action-packed thriller in the David Stoneman Series - The Cohort.
On a remote island outside Charleston, South Carolina, David Stoneman is being held prisoner in one of the country's most exclusive hotels. Facing his inevitable fate, David discovers that his unexpected trip to the Carolina coast was part of an elaborate plan orchestrated by a secretive group of puppet masters with nefarious intentions. At the same time, Bailey Thompson, the new legal counsel of a fast-growing Atlanta company, finds that she, too, was lured to the private island under false pretenses by her power-hungry boss and his unsettling mystery guest. With a deadly hurricane bearing down on them, David and Bailey must contend with a short-tempered FBI agent hot on their heels, a local judge with a dark family secret, and elite military operators hunting them, as they attempt to infiltrate one of the most powerful organizations in the world - the Cohort.
