The Brush Arbor

This book is an introduction to the uncovering of two African slaves from South Carolina and Georgia thereby documenting their descendants. It begins with Claracy and Major McMullen brought to a new territory decades before the great civil war in Chickasaw County, Mississippi by a Scottish slave owner and missionary. Then follows one of their sons, James McMullen, and hundreds of his descendants.
