The Boy Named Boy is a raw, unflinching memoir of abandonment, identity, survival, and self-discovery. Found crying alone in an abandoned house, Ernesto Cuevas entered the world unnamed and unclaimed-a newborn without a past. Adopted by a Mexican-American family, raised in silence, and burdened with secrets no child should carry, he grew up navigating racism, rejection, and the aching void of not knowing who he truly was. This is the story of a man who searched for his roots through decades of pain, military service, music, and healing. From bar fights to battle zones, from haunting silence to soulful songs, Ernesto's journey proves that even those forgotten by the world can leave a legacy that lasts. Brutally honest and deeply human, The Boy Named Boy is for anyone who's ever felt lost in their own story-and dared to write a new one.
