The Book Game

In mid-August, eight friends gather at a house in the Cambridgeshire countryside for a week-long artists retreat. In the day, country walks and slow lunches break up the creative work: there is writing by the pool, in the corner of the garden, or inside the 18th-century house. In the evenings, there are communal drinks, dinner outdoors, midnight swimming. Everything is idyllic, until secrets desire and deceit start to rise to the surface...
