What if Bitcoin and the dollar aren't competing-but evolving together? Money is more than a medium of exchange. It is a technology for communicating trust, coordinating human action, and settling value across time and space. Throughout history, every monetary system has evolved to solve these fundamental challenges. In The Bitcoin-Dollar, Mark Goodwin explores how Bitcoin represents the next state change in the evolution of money. Rather than viewing Bitcoin as merely a replacement for the dollar, Goodwin examines how the relationship between currency, commodities, and economic settlement is being fundamentally redefined. Drawing from economics, monetary history, and first principles, The Bitcoin-Dollar argues that humanity is entering another chapter in its enduring monetary journey-one in which decentralized, rules-based money challenges centuries of assumptions about value, trust, and economic policy. Whether you're a Bitcoiner, economist, investor, policymaker, or simply curious about the future of money, The Bitcoin-Dollar offers a thought-provoking framework for understanding one of the most significant monetary transformations of our time.
