About
Believers have a direct role in the Lord Jesus Christ's return. In Matthew 24:14, and similarly in Mark 13:10, the Lord says, "And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." The Lord makes this "Great Promise" to return once the Great Commission is fulfilled. Unfortunately, there is a big problem. The Church is divided and practically ineffective at fulfilling the Great Commission. Yet even though we are divided, God desires to revive us and for us to repent.
In a spiritual guide intended to motivate Christians to enthusiastically play their role in fulfilling the Great Commission to encourage the return of Jesus, Collin Fletcher shares biblical and personal insights that aim to inform all believers that our unity is to be with God, one another, and toward the world in service and evangelism. While addressing the big problem, he provides a big plan created to spark a movement where the Church properly unites, brings forth the gospel to all, and welcomes the return of our Lord in this generation.
The Big Idea offers thought-provoking biblical and personal insights that explore how the Church must unite to fulfill the Great Commission and ensure the return of Jesus.
