Once upon a time, in a Denmark now forgotten by maps and memory, trolls shaped the mountains, witches traded curses for children, and mermaids sang ships to their doom.
Frila, the humble baker's daughter, and Viggo, the thoughtful butcher's son, shared an unspoken affection for one another.
Their bond is tested when Prince Valdemar declares his intent to marry Frila, offering the means to save her ailing father. While Frila sacrifices her heart for her family, Viggo's unspoken love leads him on a perilous journey through a world of magic and danger, facing witches, mermaids, and even Death.
This is not just a tale of ancient magic, but a heart-wrenching story of enduring love. As Frila becomes the Bell Princess, tirelessly ringing a bell to warn ships of evil and Viggo races against fate to return to her. Their love story culminates in a profound sacrifice, forever echoing through a land that ultimately forgets their names - but never their love.
