In a world of free-will and humanity, there are bound to be clashes from the start. Mix in love, jealousy, a few power-hungry souls and fallen angels, and you have the same epic themes as that of Gilgamesh, Beowulf, and The Lord of the Rings. This is a modern day Paradise Lost, as well as a readable Ancient Sumerian text. If you love epics across time and space, you will love this series.
