In "The Beatitudes: What Jesus Really Meant", author Imre Vallyon explains each of the Beatitudes in very simple terms and from the view of Higher Consciousness. You will learn what the Sermon on the Mount actually means so that you can apply it to your own life, to your relationship with others, and to the life of the world. When you sift the true meaning of Jesus' sermon from its historical context and from the misunderstandings and misinterpretation of the scholars, you find a universal teaching, the eternal Laws of Conduct that apply to all spiritual disciples-humility, seeking God-Consciousness, gentleness, right-mindedness, mercy or Love, purity of Heart and non-violence. "If you can apply these Laws and practise this attitude in your life, then you are practising Discipleship. You are practising true Christianity, true Buddhism, true Hinduism. Whether you call yourself a Christian disciple or a disciple of the Truth, of God or of Reality, it is all the same. It is just the Eternal Law of Discipleship, the Law of the Higher Life." This beautiful and uplifting little book will inspire the dedicated follower of any religion or True Teaching.
