Everything You Need to Get Started in BC Security-Without the Fluff.
Becoming a licensed security guard in British Columbia is a great career move, but the 40-hour Basic Security Training (BST) and the provincial exam can feel a bit daunting. I've spent years at my kitchen table in Victoria breaking down these tests so you don't have to. This workbook is a "slimmed-down" version of our comprehensive materials, designed specifically for the student who wants to stop reading and start doing.
Inside this guide, you'll find:
• Targeted Practice Questions: Focused on the key areas the provincial exam actually tests, like Legal Studies, Personal Safety, and Professionalism. • A Clear Career Roadmap: We don't just help you pass the test; we show you what comes next, from licensing steps to finding your first job in the Pacific Northwest. • The "No-Nonsense" Approach: No corporate jargon or legal-speak. Just plain English instructions from a local publisher who's been in the classroom.
Whether you're just starting your 40-hour course or you're doing a final "triple-check" before exam day, this workbook is your best companion.
Bonus: Inside, you'll find a special invitation to join our full online course for those who want the ultimate deep-dive and video walkthroughs. Join the thousands of students who have used our materials to get their license and get to work.
