Images often include synonyms or other relevant words. Within each book, vocabulary words are presented in no discernible order, and there is no back matter. Some of the terms will be difficult for developing readers without adult guidance; for example, Color Words describes animals as "flaxen" and "goldenrod." The titles that depict more specific concepts benefit from having more clearly defined relationships between the words, such as the verbs in Motion Words and the contrasts depicted in Texture Words.
