Women are turning up in shallow graves in different boroughs of Manhattan. New York homicide detective Tara Woods and her partner are on a dangerous quest to find a serial killer.
The gruesome and meticulous method of death triggers the chief's memory of a similar cold case he and Tara's dad had worked on thirty years prior. Tara must determine the common link between the two investigations in order to bring down a vicious and cunning killer.
When the killer kidnaps Tara's friend, it hits too close to home, and the urgency to capture him intensifies. Facts and memories of the chief and another former partner, along with current evidence, give Tara the leads she needs to capture the serial killer involved in both cases.
Another creep off the streets of New York. Who will take his place?
