A sweet, funny picture book about an animal-loving girl who invites wild animals to live in her house and be her best friend, with mixed results! Back matter also teaches children how to help both wild animals and rescue pets!
Tate loves wild animals, but she worries about them! Aren't they cold, and hungry, and lonely out there?
She writes letters to offer them a better life in her home and herself as a devoted best friend-but the animals are frankly not impressed. Panda, Lion, Kangaroo-not even Raccoon, will take her up on her offer! But just as Tate is about to give up, her wild ideas lead to her pawsitively perfect match.
The earnestness of Tate's desire to rescue a wild animal combined with the blunt hilarity of their responses makes this debut picture book a no-brainer for anyone who loves animals!
