These poems, in free verse and fixed forms, span a variety of topics from poetry itself and the writing process to philosophy, psychology, feminism, social justice and the questions of legacy. Most of the poems have been written in the last ten years and reflect the poet's tangled thoughts and observations about life, the natural world, and her search for meaning through metaphor, meter, and insight.
