Some moments in our lives cause time to stop-suspending us in shock and disbelief-until time slowly begins to move again. On the other side of these unimaginable moments, we find our lives forever changed and reshaped. Lee Glasscock found herself in such a moment when her daughter's cancer returned and eventually claimed her life.
As Lee journeyed through grief to healing, she captured moments of raw humanity in poetry. In Taking Notes, each verse and stanza creates a window for us to witness what cannot be imagined, but can be survived. She invites us to move with her through pain and into the boundless light that is Love eternal, the presence that does not abandon us.
