THE BEHIND: PAINED MASK is a remarkable collection of poems that has been thoughtfully crafted over an impressive span of eighteen years. Life, in its myriad forms, doesn't always unfold in an uplifting manner when we are deeply affected by the repercussions of our own actions. However, it is precisely in the way we engage with the often challenging space of consequence-ing that we uncover our potential for profoundness-or perhaps, we do not. This poignant book of poetry, titled THE BEHIND: PAINED MASK, showcases a rich tapestry of deep reflection on self and self-discovery, as well as on the complexities of life, living, and the intricate experiences we share with others in our immediate environment or even through the frequencies of our thoughts. Time spent in the space of consequence-ing has greatly deepened the sanctuary within the inner man-god, allowing him to perceive the external world through the lenses of both spirit and pain, as so eloquently expressed throughout this powerful collection of poetry. If only we could learn and grow without inevitably stepping into the daunting space of consequence-ing, then perhaps life would always exist infused with the warmth of love. "THE BEHIND: PAINED MASK is the poetry book that you simply can never put down nor will you ever be able to forget. Whether you find yourself within or outside the complex space of consequence-ing, you will be unable to forget the intertwining experiences of both pain and love that it so beautifully encapsulates,"-as stated by the esteemed author of THE JAMAICAN: SOUL IN DARKNESS, T. R. Chambers.
