About How an'Auld Yank Learned to Survive in Southwest County Cork Ireland(Remember, you could come to Ireland for a week and stay for a Lifetime, just like I did! That's the magic and allure of Ireland and its people.)
This 'Aulder Yank, now sixty-eight years old, has now survived Ireland for over Forty-Three Years. When I moved here permanently in June, 1982, and lived in Navan, County Meath, the country was very, very different than it is now.
The first series, A Survivor's Guide Living in Ireland, talks about how I came to live here and what happened to me, my family and the job that I managed to land. That series, which was launched in 2005 and finished in 2021, continues to be relevant.
This Brand-New memoir and travel guide picks up in March, 2024. After I write about this astounding journey of living in Eyeries Village, County Cork, I'll also include most, but not all, of A Survivor's Guide to Living in Ireland. Call it a bonus for those who purchase this first book in a new series of A Survivor's Guide by Tom Richards.
In this new Memoir and Travel Guide, I have the most recent information on the price of homes and how to get a Visa. Too, this memoir, which is also something of a journal, tells you about the places I've visited and which I recommend. Visiting this country might be the best thing you can do to determine if you want to eventually live in Ireland permanently.
This new Memoir, How an 'Auld Yank Learned to Survive in Southwest County Cork Ireland, also gives buyers a FREE copy (inside) of the 2021 edition of A Survivor's Guide to Living in Ireland, which has now sold over 30,000 copies globally in all of its many versions: Paperback and Digital, to readers all over the world.
The Author invites You to go to the Last Chapter of this book to learn to Talk like the Irish, Drink Like the Irish, Eat like the Irish and Live like the Irish! Another FREE section of the NEW Memoir and Travel Guide
