At least that is what Alex, her husband, says. What is behind these accusations? And why is Cora afraid of Alex and flees their home one evening in a hurry? Cora lives a seemingly perfect life. She is a respected nurse, married to a charming and adventurous man, fulfilling her dream of a large family, a full-time mother, and living in a big house. However, this facade gradually crumbles as more and more acts of violence, obsessive behavior patterns, and threats occur. Her children suffer and have to choose sides.
