The book, Summer Rain, is a collection of poems inspired by love, loss, loneliness, womanhood, hope, self love, and personal transformation. Each poem is a recognition and celebration of the human experience based on the depth of the author's personal journey. In addition, the book provides a space for communal healing from the not so gentle war we each go through not only with the world around us, but within ourselves. A war that is necessary to find and love oneself.
