Stronger Than Fear From his childhood in New Jersey to the front lines of Gaza, Daniel Manticof shares a gripping story of courage, loss, and transformation. What begins as a simple visit to Argentina - the homeland of his family - becomes a turning point as he faces his beloved grandmother's illness and discovers the meaning of devotion and duty. After a Birthright trip to Israel awakens his connection to his heritage, Daniel enlists in the IDF as a lone soldier. On October 8th, 2023, he's entrusted with the immense burden of serving as a machine gunner-one of the heaviest, most demanding roles on the battlefield, a responsibility that would push his body and faith to their limits amid the chaos of war. Carrying a small pocket journal into Gaza, he captures the raw reality of combat, the unbreakable bond between brothers in arms, and the rare moments of light that endure even in darkness. Stronger Than Fear is a profoundly moving memoir of resilience and hope-a testament to how, even in the most arduous of battles, the human spirit can rise above fear.
