About
In a town where stray cats and dogs roam the streets and alleyways, their stories come to life-told from their own point of view and from the humans who try to help them. Some people see dogs and cats as nothing more than mousers or guard animals, but others see something more: a friend, a creature in need, a spark of hope. As the cats search for food, shelter, and kindness, they cross paths with grown-ups who begin to question what it really means to care. This heartfelt tale explores friendship, survival, and the courage to speak up for those who can't speak up for themselves. Stray is a work of fiction that strives to educate and urges responsible pet ownership. This is my debut as a novelist. I am originally from San Diego, California and now reside in Pensacola, Florida. Due to a catastrophic injury in 2014, I was unable to resume my career in the food and beverage industry and spend my time engaged in artistic endeavors.
