Strands of Rhyme: Poems from the Real World is her first published volume; it contains humor, satire, poetic memoir, social issues, love poems, narratives, observations, and expression of her own intense pain and joy.
In it, she paints pictures with words. She urges readers to take charge In Be the Artist of Your Life, draw strength from All I Have is Me, realize The Givens are not always forthcoming, embrace Change, relate to Excerpts from a Feel Good Day, and share the joys of love in Good Morning, I Love You.
