"[Storm Tide] speaks with one powerful voice, moving inexorably toward tragedy even as it offers a hint of redemption."

"A carefully, artfully, and . . . seamlessly told story . . . The reader is totally engrossed in this stylish depiction of small-town politics, sexual vulnerability, [and] insecurity of the heart."
Booklist
"A great mystery, an intelligent political thriller, and an emotional hurricane. It's also erotic to the core, and written to read as fast as a fierce nor'easter blowing hard across turbulent water."
