The Humours of Golf by Arthur James Balfour (25 July 1848 – 19 March 1930). Balfour was known from early life as a cultured musician, and as well as being heavily involved in politics he also became an enthusiastic golf player, becoming captain of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews in 1894–1895.
