Some of us are given the tools of a writer. Some of us are given the tools of a speaker. Few of us receive the gift of an inner voice. Kathleen Carlson is one of the few.
Spiritual Reflections and Some Not So is the sound of her inner voice put to paper.
In these uniquely expressed poems, Kathleen shares a life of reflection and observation in a form she has mastered over the years. In this crisp, contemporary, and inspiring collection of verses, she allows us to see her transcendence of lifes losses, her commitment to the Creator, and her mastery of language.
Whether read silently to oneself or aloud to others, Kathleens writing will challenge us to look into the mirror and to reflect upon our spiritual selves. Lets hope when we do, we will also see the power, the pain, and the peace that Kathleen has found in her world. May our inner voices be as expressive and beautiful as hers.
