I don't know who I am. I don't know how I got here. But one thing is certain: if I stop running, I'll never be free. When I burst from the woods into a rush of headlights and asphalt, I think I've escaped. I think I'm safe. Then, a blinding surge of energy erupts, and the last thing I see before darkness claims me is a strikingly handsome face hovering over mine.Yay me, right?I wake up magically restrained in a hospital bed, only to be told by some less-than-handsome guy that my magic is wild and dangerous. Their ultimatum is clear: enroll in their elite academy to control my power or spend the rest of my life in a cage.Welcome to Protectors Academy, a ruthless magical boarding school where the heirs of the powerful reign supreme and compete for a coveted spot on the borderlands. Here, I'm anything but free and far from safe.Stalked by shadows, tormented by mean girls, and entangled with four of the hottest guys on campus, my troubles are just beginning. When I'm attacked and blamed for burning down my own dorm, survival becomes my only goal. All I want is to pass their tests and escape this nightmare. But first, I have to survive.
